Standardized Test Preparation Resource Center

Preparing for a standardized test or admissions test? Find the materials you need in our Standardized Test Preparation Resource Center located in the SMART Learning Commons in room 204 of Walter Library.

Materials are available to currently enrolled University of Minnesota students.

Currently, the practice guides and books are not available to check out and take home. You may check the book out to use within the library, however.

The staff at the SMART-Walter service desk located in room 204 will be able to assist you in checking out materials. You will need to provide them with your UCard that will be kept at the desk and given back to you when you return the book.

No, the Speak Test is not available through SMART, but is available at Walter Library circulation desk.

There is no charge to check out a practice guide or book, or to use the computerized practice exams.

We currently have practice guides and books for the exams listed below. These resources are available for use inside SMART-Walter. In addition to these resources, we will soon have computer stations with software that will allow students to complete practice tests for these exams.
