Workshops - Overview

The SMART Learning Commons regularly sponsors workshops on a variety of academic subjects. These may be specific to a course and even a particular exam within the course, or they may be more general, focused on foundation concepts and skill-building. These workshops are facilitated by graduate students with appropriate expertise and training, and are designed to be highly interactive. Students are encouraged to bring specific questions and concerns to the workshop, as there will be time to address these in addition to the structured group work. Light refreshments are also provided.

All students are welcome. We appreciate an RSVP so we can plan facilities, handouts, and refreshments more accurately, but dropping in without an RSVP is OK, too. RSVP's go to smartlc@umn.edu. Questions may also be directed to that address.
