The SMART Learning Commons offers free academic support in a variety of subjects in multiple locations:

SMART Walter is open! Limited services are available during the summer break, and full services will be in place for the Fall 2008 semester. ********** SMART spaces are available for self-directed study during the summer break. ********** The Peer Learning Consultants at the SMART Learning Commons now accept appointments in addition to our walk-in hours. About the SMART Commons
Peer Learning Consultants offer one-on-one assistance for help in gateway courses and skills such as mathematics, sciences, statistics, economics, writing, and library research. Additional courses may be supported, based on the backgrounds of our Peer Learning Consultant staff in any given semester.
SMART is home to the Peer-Assisted Learning program, which pairs experienced undergraduates (PAL Facilitators) with specific course sections to facilitate group learning experiences. See the PAL pages for more details.
Individual and groups study spaces are available in SMART centers for self-directed study on a first come, first served basis.
The SMART also hosts short introductory workshops in Excel, PowerPoint, academic services and skill development, and library resources.
Events
SMART - Magrath has coffee break every Thursday, 1-3pm during the academic year. Come and enjoy free coffee and cookies.
